Read below complete step by step guide on how you can Install and sign up on our CareKnots Caregiver mobile app.
01- How to Install and sign up on our CareKnots Caregiver mobile app
Step: 1 > to use our CareKnots Caregiver app, you can use any Android and Iphone smartphones. Go to Google Play or Apple store on your phone and search for CareKnots Caregiver and it will show you the CareKnots Caregiver App.
Step: 2 > Click to open the app details and it will show the option to install the app, Click on the Install button, then wait for a few seconds to install the app on your phone.
Step: 3 > Once you install the app successfully, then open the app on your phone, it will then give you two options:
Sign Up
Sign In
If you are using the CareKnots app for the first time then select Sign Up and fill out your information and click on Sign Up.
Step: 4 > When you click on sign up you will receive an OTP code on your email and phone number which you will use to get started in filling out the signup page. Check your email and fill out the OTP code and click on submit to continue.
Step: 5 > Select a service that you want to provide and fill out all the required information, then click on next.
Step: 6 > Type the location where you want to provide your services.
Step: 7 > Upload your state issued ID,Driver’s License,Criminal Background check report (if you have any), for your verification purpose, then click on submit. If you do not have a current Background check, then click on the Text: Don’t Have Criminal Background Document so we can help you secure one!
Our team will verify your given information, once the verification process is completed you will receive a confirmation email that your CareKnots Caregiver account is activated.
Step: 8 > Once you receive the confirmation email, open the Careknots Caregiver app and this time select Sign-In and then enter your registered email address and password and click on Sign-In button to log-in to CareKnots Caregiver app.

02- How to Install and sign up on our CareKnots client mobile app.
Step: 1 > to use our CareKnots app, you can use any Android and Iphone smartphones. Go to Google Play or Apple store on your phone and search for CareKnots and it will show you the CareKnots App.
Step: 2 > Click to open the app details and it will show the option to install the app, Click on the Install button, then wait for a few seconds to install the app on your phone.
Step: 3 > Once you install the app successfully, then open the app on your phone, it will then give you two options: Become a Caregiver or Find a Caregiver. Choose Find a Caregiver, then you will be in the Sign Up page which will give you 2 options:
Sign Up
Sign In
If you are using the CareKnots app for the first time then select Sign Up and fill out your information and click on Sign Up.
Step: 4 > When you click on sign up you will receive an OTP code on your email and phone number which you will use to get started in filling out the signup page. Check your email and fill out the OTP code and click on submit to continue.
Step: 5 > Fill out the location where you need care and click on next.
Step: 6 > Upload your state issued ID or Driver’s License for your identity verification and click on next.
Our admin team will verify your given information, once the verification process is completed you will receive a confirmation email that your CareKnots account is now activated.
Step: 7 > Once you receive the confirmation email, open the Careknots app and this time select Sign-In and then enter your registered email address and password and click on Sign-In button to log-in to CareKnots client app.

03- How to post a job on CareKnots
Step 1 > Log-In to CareKnots client app from your phone. Once you are logged in the app will redirect you to the screen where you will be able to see all the available services to choose and post your job in that specific job service category.
Step 2 > Select a service to post a job
Step 3 > Select job type and click on the next button which is showing on the right top corner of your screen.
Step 4 > Select the start date and end date when you need care and click on next.
Step 5 > Select your preferred days and time, if your time is variable then select, My time is variable, then click on next.
Step 6 > write the complete address where do you need care and click on next
Step 7 > Select for how many people do you need care, use + and – buttons to select your required care size, and click on next
Step 8 > The app will show you a drop down list with additional responsibilities. If you need any additional responsibility you can select from the list, and click on next.
Step 9 > The app will show you a drop down list with qualities and good habits of the caregiver. If you are looking for your ideal caregiver then select caregiver qualities and click on next.
Step 10 > Select the hourly price that you want to pay for your job, and click on next.
Step 11 > Add some additional details about your job posting. E.g Years of experience, job title and job description, and click on Submit.
Once you post the job successfully, our admin team will verify your posted job details, once verified your job will be published on our platform. You will also receive a confirmation email that your job is now posted successfully.
Note: You can also check the status of your posted job by Logging-In to CareKnots client app > My Jobs
04- How you can edit or make changes into your CareKnots profile
Step 1 > Log-In to CareKnots client app from your phone.
Step 2 > Go to settings and click on my profile
Step 3 > Click on edit text which appears at the top right corner of your screen.
Step 4 > make changes to your profile as per your understanding.
Step 5 > Click on save text which appears at the top right corner of your screen.
05- How you can add or change your profile photo
Step 1 > Log-In to CareKnots client app from your phone.
Step 2 > Go to settings and click on my profile
Step 3 > Click on edit text which appears at the top right corner of your screen.
Step 4 > click on camera icon and it will open up your phonegallery ( select a good looking photo for your profile from your phone gallery )
Step 5 > Click on save text which appears at the top right corner of your screen.
06- How you can change the password of your account
There are two methods to reset the password of your account
Note: If you remember the password of your account but still want to change it due to any concern or think that somebody has your password, then use method one. But if you forget the password of your account then use method no 2 to reset the password of your account.
Method 1:
Step 1 > Log-In to CareKnots app from your phone.
Step 2 > Go to settings and click on change password
Step 3 > write your old password
Step 4 > Write new password
Step 5 > Confirm your new password and click on the change password button.
Method 2:
Step 1 > Open the app on your phone, it will then give you two options:
Sign Up
Sign In
Click on sign In
Step 2 > instead of writing your registered username and password click on forgot password
Step 3 > write your registered email address or phone number in the box and click on reset password, A screen will appear and ask you to enter one time password ( OTP )
Step 4 > you will receive a one time password on your email from careknots enter the otp in the app and click on submit.
Step 5 > A screen will appear and give you the option to create a new password for your account. Write a new password for your account and click on update password.
Note: Once you complete all the above steps and reset your password, go to the sign in page add your email or phone and new password to log in to your account.
07- How you can add money to your wallet
Step 1 > Log-In to CareKnots app from your phone.
Step 2 > Go to settings and click on my wallet
Step 3 > Click on Add money to wallet
Step 4 > Enter the amount that you want to add in your wallet, and click on add text which appears at the top right corner on your phone screen.
Step 5 > you will see two option on your screen to add money to your wallet
Add with Stripe
Add with PayPal
Select your preferred payment method, you will require to login to your Stripe or PayPal account, once you login, accept the request to add the money into your wallet. And the money will be added to your account wallet successfully.
